Sitzender Buddha aus Basanit (Naturstein), Mudra Erdberührung, ca. 100 cm hoch, Steinmetzarbeit, handveredelt & coloriert
Die Handhaltung eines Buddhas wird auch Mudra genannt. Hier dargestellt: Die "Erdberührung" Geste. Dabei hängt der rechte Arm des Buddhas über dem Knie und die Handflächen zeigen nach innen. Alle Finger weisen nach unten. Die linke Hand liegt mit der nach oben geöffneten Handfläche auf dem Schoß. Der sitzende Buddha berührt mit den Fingerspitzen die Erde um sie als Zeugin für die Wahrheit seiner Worte anzurufen.

executed, is irrevocable.

naturalness of the material and the dedicated craftwork of the artists
and are therefore not to be considered a flaw.
